“My challenge was to go from the freelance graphic designer that started 21 years ago without any online business and digital marketing knowledge, to a creative entrepreneur. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Here’s the thing about deciding you want to profit from your passion and work from anywhere to bring in income: the finish line always gets moved! My daughter Catherine and I learned how to create and sell digital products on my website and on Etsy. When I needed to reach more of my ideal clients, I taught myself Facebook Ads. When I wanted passive income, I learned how to create an online course for graphic designers. Then, when I needed brand photography, we styled our own photoshoots.
This is the perfect Give a Mouse a Cookie or The Butterfly Effect scenario…one task always led us into learning another skill.

Jean wanted bright & light photos that showed her audience who she was, so we included fun pops of color. The Clovis Flea Market was happening the weekend we planned to take her photos so we added that to the list for our locations which was a no-brainer. By including colorful clothes in her wardrobe, & finding the locations that fit with her brand’s style, we were able to capture her personality and spirit, creating a further connection with her to clients and followers. These are some of the end results!
